The Covid Pandemic continues to stress the nation and with the recent surge due to the Omicron variant, it becomes even more important for us to support vaccination outreach in underserved communities.

This PAMAG supported Oroquieta Vaccination Rice giveaway to encourage vaccination. It was run by local medical doctors headed by Dr Kathleen Go Echavez , a cardiologist trained from the Philippine Heart Center and a very good family friend of stalwart PAMAG members and former presidents, Dr. Paul and Marilyn Beltran. Hundreds of people received the incentive of a bag of rice per vaccine recipient. It has been an effective way of encouraging vaccination and overcoming vaccine hesitancy in the provincial areas.
