PAMAG & Alumni of CIM Class 76 Typhoon Odette  Disaster Relief in Pitogo Island, Bohol

PAMAG and alumni of Cebu Institute of Medicine Class 76 headed by Dr. Enriqueta Sepe, Dr.Emma Dominguez and Dr. Leah Wytunga undertook this difficult disaster relief effort.

They went to Pitogo island of Bohol which was a 3 and 1/2 hr drive from Tagbilaran which was accessible by boat. They distributed 326 packs (4kg each)of rice and canned goods with help from PAMAG plus other donors. The building had a damaged roof, there were no rest rooms and it was scorching hot. People were crying with stories about their homes torn down by the typhoon. The only reward for the doctors and volunteers were the smiling and thankful faces of the people.

PAMAG and other alumni of CIM Class 76 headed by Dr. Chuchi Quijano have also distributed disaster relief food packs to other areas:
1. They gave away 210 rice packs to trisikad drivers and fisherfolks in Kalawisan, Lapu-Lapu City
2. They distributed 200 rice packs to the poor residents residing near Rogationist Seminary in Cebu City.
3. They distributed 200 rice packs to residents of Barangays Balud and Consolacion in Dalaguete, Cebu.
