Juanito I. King Foundation Disaster Relief

AFTER THE SUPERTYPHOON ODETTE STRUCK, our local partners from the Juanito I King Foundation did a needs assessment and saw that the 127,000 residents of Toledo City were affected by Typhoon Odette.
Homes were destroyed, families were scattered looking for food and water.  The Department of Social Welfare was overwhelmed and could hardly cope with the needs of the citizens.

The King Foundation and PAMAG started distributing 5 gallon drinking water on New Year’s Day. A thousand more drinking water ( 5 gal size , ) will be distributed in different batches to Lutopan , a highly populated mining area in Toledo in the next coming days . Food distribution  will start on Jan 4 , Tuesday for the coastal towns.
